How to set up web filtering on supported Luxul routers.
Router Limits supports a number of Luxul routers. You can see here for a list of the Luxul routers that have Router Limits built-in.
If your Luxul router shipped pre-enabled, you can use the automated activation system.
In the event yours is not enabled, you'll need to enable Router Limits from the Luxul router's user interface. Instructions for this are found below.
STEP 1: To access the Luxul router's user interface/portal, you'll type 192.168.0.10 or 192.168.0.1 (the most common IPs for Luxul routers) in the address bar of your web browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari) to access the router's web-based user interface. If it doesn't work, search your router model online for how to access the router settings/router user interface.
STEP 2: Then, log in to the router user interface.
NOTE: The default username for your Luxul router is admin. The default password is admin.
If that doesn't work, check to make sure you're connected to the Wi-Fi being broadcast by your Luxul router. If your Luxul router does not have internet enabled, consult the original Luxul router documentation for help on enabling internet on it. Once you've done so, you can come back to this article and enable Router Limits.
STEP 3: Next, look for Firewall/Security > Parental Controls > Router Limits. On newer firmware versions, Router Limits is listed under the Third Party tab instead.
STEP 4: Next to Router Limits System, select Enabled.
STEP 5: Under Current Status, click Activate. The router will provide you a Pairing Code that you will need in a little while for Router Limits. Copy this number to your clipboard or write it down.
STEP 5: Now, visit activate.routerlimits.com in a new window and enter the Pairing Code when prompted.
NOTE: If you already have a Router Limits account, then you will instead follow these steps.
